The Silent
Rave
Every RSA event features the "Silent Rave" — live DJ sets and commentary streamed directly to athletes' bone conduction headphones. No amplified speakers means infinite scale, zero noise permits, and an immersive audio experience that turns every course into a dance floor.
At Tier 3 and 4 events, the broadcast feels closer to a Boiler Room set than a traditional sports broadcast — drone footage, multi-angle coverage, and live commentary mixed with music.

Difficulty
System
Green
Beginner-friendly. Stable boulders, moderate spacing, low exposure.
Blue
Intermediate. Mixed terrain, some loose rock, moderate route-finding.
Black
Advanced. Complex terrain, significant exposure, demanding route-finding.
Double Black
Expert only. Extreme terrain, high exposure, maximum difficulty.
